POWER VENT SYSTEM

Not all locations have the space required for a direct vent fireplace chimney and its clearances. With Ortal’s power vent system, you’ll be able to have your fireplace installed in nearly any location. The firebox’s exhaust is expelled by a forced airstream through a vent who’s exit point can be up to 110 feet away. Ortal’s Power Vent System allows you to enjoy a free-standing or built-in fireplaces anywhere, eliminating the need to run your vent pipe vertically off the top of the firebox. The system has constant self-monitoring pressure via state-of-the-art control techniques making it safe and reliable.

We’ve made it possible for you to enjoy any of our fireplaces, anywhere you’d like. Our proprietary, modern power vent system gives you complete design freedom – even in apartments where fireplaces have traditionally been prohibitive. The firebox’s exhaust is moved via a forced airstream, which enables the option of horizontal runs and even downward movement. Using a co-axial pipe with both exhaust and air intake capabilities, you’ll be able to place it anywhere that is available – up to 110 feet away. Our Power Vent System utilizes Dura Vent’s 35CVS which can run within your walls and flooring. The fan box must be placed a minimum of 21 feet of vent run length from the firebox for up to a maximum 45 feet. Now you have the flexibility to have a fireplace wherever you want, in almost any location.
